Here is a great idea for a cake that you can make for a birthday, baby shower, anniversary, etc. ...Just change out the ribbon!! I made this cake from scratch but you can also do a boxed cake and then buy lady fingers from the grocery store. It takes one package to go around the cake. You will spread icing around the sides of the cake and on the top of the cake. Place the lady fingers around the side, no need to break them apart, then top your cake with some pretty strawberries or blueberries or other fruit to match your occasion. You could do a cute Flag ribbon and strawberries and blueberries for Fourth of July or a Military Homecoming
