"Loads of Fun"-Making Laundry a little more fun

This project was fun and really therapeutic for me. I've actually been keeping up more with the laundry.  We closed in our garage, added heating and air and converted it into a laundry/utility room with a closet and storage cabinets. I have many ideas for what I want to do in here because there is so much space. I'll update as things progress.

This project takes a small can of paint in your choice of color and one circle sponge with a wooden handle available at Michaels Art's and Crafts. You also need a little container of some sort to pour your paint in. I only painted the front of mine because that is really all you see when you come in the room. One tip that is very important!!! Make sure you do not have too much paint on your sponge or it will run! I used a couple paper towels to dab some of the paint after I dipped it in the paint and then just press firmly onto the washer. In order to make it fairly uniform start at the bottom and place your first four set of circle from the bottom up, then to the left of those you can line up your next set with those to keep it fairly even. It does't have to be perfect! I think it turned out great. I'll take more photos when I finish the room or as I go along. I have several ideas for this laundry room.
