Some Halloween "Pinspiration"

"BOO"TIFUL HALLOWEEN DOOR

Here is a Super Easy Halloween Craft for you that I found on Pinterest and decided to try out.  I liked it so much that I made one for my daughter-in-law in Hawaii.  Purchase white letters at Michaels, Joann's or your local craft store. They are about $3 each and if you have a coupon even cheaper.  You can even save a step if you don't have a black door because they sell Black letters which would look cute too or you could mix it up. Purchase a can of orange spray paint at Walmart (cheaper than the craft store) and  purchase (yes I cheated and bought mine because I can't make bows) Halloween theme Bow.  Lastly, you will need a roll of burlap string (this is about $2 -$3 a roll and can make TONS of these or for other projects.  Total cost is less than $20 and even cheaper if you can make your bow.  Please ignore my door that needs to be painted or  replaced very soon. It's next on my project list.

Glass Bead Bracelets

My new hobby lately has been making these glass bead bracelets. I thought if I get started early, I should have time to get a few "Christmas" gifts knocked out. Yes, I said it. Christmas.  I know its not even Halloween yet.  Every year I have the best intentions to start early so I can actually enjoy the holiday and spending time with my family. Anyway, I got this idea on pinterest as well and what a great idea for all your female friends and family and you can personalize each one. This one is for my best friends daughter that plays softball. Here ball colors are red, white and blue and first name starts with an "M".

Framed "Gifts"

Wrap Your Pictures for Cute Easier Christmas Decorations

I could not find any pictures that I could "afford" to replace the everyday ones I have hanging on my wall above my sofa. My sister actually came up with this idea and I think it turned out very whimsical and cute. She gift wrapped the photos I have hanging currently and tied a cute bow on them. After Christmas, just remove the paper and "voila!" your old photos are back and undamaged. The bonus is you don't have to find a place to store your pictures over the holidays. Get creative with this one! I'd love to see what you come up with.

Totally Addicted to Pinterest

Welcome to my Blog. This is my attempt to document ideas, projects and inspiration that I found from Pinterest and other websites and how I made them my own. I'm sure most of you by now have discovered Pinterest. If not, you do not know what you are missing. It is basically an online scrapbook of ideas, crafts, recipes, tips and anything else that inspires you  organized into little categories. You can click on the pictures of things you find that you like and it will typically take you to the website that the idea came from with instructions or the recipe on how to create or make it. You can find wardrobe ideas, wedding ideas, decorating ideas, and I could go on and on.... Anyway, lately I have become addicted to the site. I've tried many recipes and started to try some of the crafts and home decor projects. Some of the projects, I re-invented in my own way but used the ideas for inspiration.  This blog will mostly be a collection of my own projects, ideas, crafts and decorating that I have found from various sites including Pinterest and some of my own. I hope that you will also get some inspiration to do your own thing. I'd love to see how yours turn out!

Some of the ideas I've done so far.... for more details on the projects see the links on the right.
